We had a spectacular weekend of tennis at our club with the U-11 regional championship. All the players performed brilliantly, and the finals were held last Sunday. Both the men's and women's teams went to a tie-break.
On the men's side, Luis Castro came from behind in a powerful comeback against Oliver Aguilar after losing the first set 6-4 and took the trophy after winning the super tiebreak. In the women's draw, there was also a comeback: Fabiola Prause, like Luis, lost the first set and took the championship in the super tiebreak with a thrilling 11-9 victory over Claudia Valero.
